Sophia was a great asset. She learns very quickly and is willing to pitch in for whatever is needed. She is very athletic so she can participate in whatever is needed on the farm. She is very cheerful and fun to talk to. She’s also a great cook. She is welcome back anytime.

I spent two months at Lisa's place and had an incredibly enriching experience. Lisa has created a true sanctuary for animals, where they are not only loved but also free to simply enjoy life. The way different species roam and live together in harmony is something truly special and wonderful to witness. Being surrounded by them every day, with the

Lisa has a huge heart and an unwavering dedication to animal rescue—she simply can’t stop saving more. :) She’s a unique and strong-willed character, very laid-back and easy to talk to. Some might find her blunt or direct at times, but it’s never personal—she's just often lost in her own head. While this can make the place feel a bit chaotic at times, she is always open to feedback and new ideas. I had many long and enjoyable conversations with Lisa over dinner, but she also gives you plenty of space if you prefer to keep to yourself. If you're considering coming here, be ready to take initiative and work independently.
You should also really love dogs when you come here. Lisa has five of them and they are all really lovely and sweet. Scooby might take you as his new favorite and follow you around and even sleeps in your bed if you let him to. He has the cutest dog look and will win you over in no time.

Veronica was a local workawayer. She volunteered for several months, once or twice a week.
She caught on quickly which was amazing as the feeding is pretty complicated here. She was also well experienced as to the maintenance jobs. She was wonderful with the animals. She also has some great video and social media skills. She even did some

Annie is a super nice, quiet and considerate workawayer , she stayed in my home for a month and made a very small footprint. She did not have experience in farm sanctuary work but once I showed her she did her job thoroughly. She is very conscientious.
