My name is Beatrice, I am 50 and I run a translation agency. My daughter will be 11 in July. She is calm and sociable.
We live in a house near the city centre and we have a garden. The area is safe and quiet.
We like going to the beach, cooking (and eating) and going out with friends.

I love hosting foreign travellers from around the world. I love foreing languages and cultures. I like to share experiences. I am also a good cook and I would love cooking for you and learning from you to prepare one of your local dishes. We can visit our city together or spend time at the beach.

Help
I am looking for a friend for my daughter to play with for some hours during the day. My aim is for her to practise speaking English or learn some Spanish or French.
We are open-minded, flexible on days/hours and we are used to having foreign people around the house.
When you are here we would like to show you around, try local food with us and join us when going to the beach. BUT you are totally free during your free time.
I could give you the contact details of previous workawayers/au pair girls so you can ask them any question you wish to ask.

I love all languages and I have recently started learing the Italian Sign Language. My daughter too is very curious about foreing languages, although she can only speak Italian and English. She sometimes asks me how to say something in French or Spanish.
Accommodation
We can offer a single room. You will have access to our kitchen and fridge. I will be cooking for you as part of my family but you can decide to cook for yourself.
What else ...
Ravenna is a small, safe and quiet city. You can walk to the city center (10 min) or I can give you a bike to go round the city or you can use the buses (20 minute to the beach). Take the train and you can visit Venezia (3 hours), Florence (2 hours) or Milan (3 hours) but also nice spots like Cesenatico (20 min), Faenza (40 min) or Ferrara (1 hour).

Hyumni is friendly, sociable, outgoing and peaceful.
She played a lot with my daughter. She helped me with the garden and some times cock for us we opened a "Korean restaurant".
She did my daughter's hair almost every day!
We missed her the day after she left.
