We are originally from the Netherlands and we have been living in Sweden for more than 15 years. My daughter studies marine biology in South Sweden and she is staying home only during the summer and on some other occasions. We have a lovely mixed breed husky dog called Snuff.
We need volunteers for helping with our building and painting projects. We also have some other smaller projects indoors and outdoors.
in winter time we need to help partly with snow clearing both on the roof and on the ground. we also need help with firewood to pot it in house.
It also be good IF there is sombody that is good with vehicle because we are in need of help with cars and snowmobile problems.Types of help and learning opportunities

Here you will be able to learn Swedish and Dutch culture & language also you will get a lot of opportunities to see northern animals like mooses, reindeers, foxes, beavers, birds, and beautiful northern nature.
Wilderness is all around of you!
Fishing, animals, swimming, biking on-road and off-road, there are also nice mountains around so you can take nice walks and go on to adventures.
We can sometimes go to the museum of Naturum national park (on the mountains) or Jokkmokk museum of Ajtte. There's also a small water park called Spegeldammen and the longest fall of Europe called Storforsen and many other places. Jokkmokk in Lapponia has a lot of Sami culture.Help

You will share accommodation with other volunteers if there is more than one person. The accommodation is in a small cabin with two rooms. One room has two beds and the other one is the "living room" with a table and chairs.
You have access to Wi-Fi, but we hope you don't do movie streaming or download big files as the connections in the countryside aren't very fast. Shared kitchen and bathroom will be in the main house. There is also a wooden toilet outside near the barn.diss is more if we have more than 1 voluntary worker other is there in the head house in a geast room.
The yard itself consists of a larger area out in the wilderness. Just a bit behind the yard we have a small stream what is in some parts around 2 meters deep and in the summer it will be a great place to take a morning or afternoon dip. What else ...
