Hello!
Welcome to our home to share good times and do lots of things!
On the agenda:
- In the house: living with the kids, doing activities, cooking, cleaning 🏡 and also DIY projects, painting, home improvements, etc...
- With the horses: horseback riding (in your free time), otherwise clearing brush, fencing… 🐴
- In the garden: cleaning, tidying, gathering firewood, clearing brush, vegetable gardening depending on the season...
If you especially love children and teenagers, horses, DIY projects, gardening, living together, and doing beautiful things in the places you visit, welcome here!
We are a blended family and also a foster family for children and young teenagers who are placed with us for a period of time/years.
My name is Camille, I'm 40 years old, and I'm super active and energetic. I used to be a landscaper and riding instructor. I love beautifying places and taking care of animals and the garden!
I have two children, aged 13 and 18. Arthus is with us every other week.
My partner, Gildas, is a special education teacher and works elsewhere with adults with disabilities. Gildas has three sons, aged 9, 16, and 18, every other weekend and half of the school holidays.
We'll mainly be doing activities with the children we care for here: walks, cooking, crafts, and board games! ⚽️ 📖 👦
We live in Plomodiern in Gildas's house. The house is in the village with shops nearby.
We're 5 km from the beach and have a small vegetable garden. For your leisure, there's a beach 5km away and plenty of hiking trails. The bus stops right outside the house for trips to the city (Quimper) or to visit the Crozon peninsula, Locronan, etc… it's magnificent here 🤩 🏖️ We can also lend you a bicycle.
I also have an eco-friendly house made of straw, earth, lime, and wood, with a large 1.5-hectare garden, a swimming pond, and an orchard, 15km away. We'll go there to maintain the property.
And my passion is HORSES! I have several horses a few kilometers away in large fields that I care for, and I go riding and trekking. If you love horses, that's a bonus because we can really share this passion and ride them as much as possible! I enjoy welcoming riders who are comfortable at all three gaits to join me on rides (it's safer). Horses are my hobby, so riding is a pleasure in your free time, not a chore, but we can certainly ride together! I go trail riding with them at least once a week.
We prefer to host for a minimum of two weeks (or more), as this allows time to get to know each other :-) But there's no obligation, of course; everyone is free to choose.
It is necessary and mandatory to provide a clean criminal record check to come to our home, as this is required by my job as a foster carer, since we work with children.
We prefer Workaways who already speak some French and are potentially interested in improving their skills, but who can understand simple instructions: it's easier with children.

- avec les chevaux : monter à cheval en randonnée (sur le temps libre), sinon débroussaillage, clôtures… 🐴
- au jardin : nettoyage, rangement, bois, débroussaillage, potager selon la saison...
Si tu aimes surtout les enfants et les jeunes, les chevaux, bricoler, jardiner, vivre ensemble et faire de belles choses dans les lieux où tu passes bienvenue ici!
Nous sommes une famille recomposée et aussi "famille d'accueil" pour des enfants et jeunes adolescents qui sont placés chez nous pour quelques temps/années.
Je m'appelle Camille, j'ai 40 ans et je suis super-active et dynamique, j’étais paysagiste et monitrice d’équitation, j'adore embellir les lieux et m'occuper des animaux et du jardin!
J'ai 2 enfants de 13 et 18 ans, Arthus est à la maison là une semaine sur deux.
Mon conjoint Gildas est éducateur spécialisé et travaille ailleurs avec des adultes handicapés. Gildas à 3 garçons de 9,16 et 18 ans un week-end sur deux et la moitié des vacances...
On fera surtout des activités avec les enfants placés ici, balades, cuisine, activités manuelles, jeux de société ! ⚽️ 📖 👦
On habite à Plomodiern dans la maison de Gildas. La maison est dans le village avec des commerces à côté.
Nous sommes à 5km de la plage, avec un petit jardin potager. Pour tes loisirs Il y a la plage à 5km et plein de randonnées, le bus devant la maison pour aller en ville (Quimper) ou visiter la presqu’île de Crozon, Locronan, etc… c’est magnifique ici 🤩 🏖️ On peut aussi te prêter un vélo.
J'ai aussi une maison écologique en paille, terre, chaux, bois, avec un grand jardin d'1,5 hectare, un bassin de baignade, verger, à 15km et on ira la bas pour entretenir le lieu.
Et ma passion ce sont les CHEVAUX! J'ai plusieurs chevaux à quelques kilomètres dans de grands champs que j’entretiens et je fais des balades et randonnées. Si tu aimes les chevaux c'est un plus car on pourra vraiment partager cette passion et les monter le plus possible! J'aime bien accueillir des cavaliers à l'aise à cheval aux 3 allures pour m'accompagner en extérieur (c’est plus sécuritaire). Les chevaux sont mon loisir donc monter à cheval est un plaisir sur ton temps libre et non une tâche a faire mais on peut monter ensemble bien sur! Je randonne avec eux au moins une fois par semaine.
Nous préférons recevoir pour 2 semaines minimum (ou plus), car ça permet d'avoir le temps de faire connaissance :-)
Mais c'est sans engagement bien sûr chacun est libre.
Il est nécessaire et obligatoire pour venir chez nous de fournir un extrait de casier judiciaire vierge car c'est demandé par mon métier d'assistante familiale car nous travaillons avec des enfants.
Nous préférons des workaways parlant déjà un peu français -et voulant potentiellement se perfectionner mais pouvant comprendre des consignes simples : c’est plus facile avec les enfants.

we are in a small village, the best way of locomotion is the car, otherwise we have bicycles. Otherwise we go from time to time to Quimper, and in the surroundings to walk around. There are bus to the city too.
nous sommes dans un petit village, le meilleur moyen de locomotion est la voiture, sinon nous avons des vélos. Autrement nous allons de temps en temps à Quimper, et dans les environs pour se promener, il y a aussi des bus vers la ville.
