Our Farm is a 45 ha property an hour from central Auckland and 35 minutes from Auckland International Airport. We run a Polo Club, polo pony development facility, and sheep in the winter. We have a major river restoration and trails development programme underway, including the planting and maintenance of substantial numbers of native plants on the riparian and trail edges. We have a farm manager full time. Workaway helpers assist with general farm work, and we also welcome international visitors to contribute to our environmental programmes. We work with community groups so there are opportunities for other volunteering (river restoration and trails development and maintenance on nearby properties, and more) with like minded people from our property as a base. There are some opportunities for schooling horses and ponies, for gentle experienced riders only. Our helpers live together with a shared kitchen -not suitable for smokers or loners.
