  • What else ...

    What else ...

Mangawhai, a coastal gem in New Zealand, is renowned for its stunning beaches, popular surfing spots, lagoon-style harbor, and expansive sand dunes.

    Highlights:
Mangawhai Cliffs Walkway: A picturesque 4.5-kilometer trail offering breathtaking views from its lookout points. The area also features various hikes suitable for all fitness levels.
Bennetts Chocolate Shop and Factory: A must-visit destination for chocolate lovers.
The name "Mangawhai" is derived from Māori traditions, referencing the stingrays that inhabit the harbor. In the early 1800s, Chief Te Whai resided in the Mangawhai Harbour area, contributing to its rich cultural heritage.
