***We have all the volunteers we need for the next few months. If we require more help, we’ll update the profile. Wishing you safe travels and wonderful adventures!***

Hello! We are Stéphane and Ladina, living in the picturesque village of Mur (part of Vully-Les-Lacs), nestled between the stunning lakes of Morat and Neuchatel in Switzerland. Our home is a haven of peace where we enjoy the company of our rescue animals, the German Shepherd Ley, our cat Grischa, and our three friendly chickens: Bernina, Giülia, and Alvra. We are seasoned travelers and multilingual, speaking French, German, English, Italian, and a little Spanish. We are excited to share our space and culture with you!

Mur is a paradise for those who cherish the outdoors. The area offers endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation. You can explore scenic trails and pathways that meander through the countryside and along the shores of Lake Morat and Lake Neuchatel. If you're into watersports, the lakes provide a perfect setting for sailing, surfing, and foiling. For those who love mountain adventures, the Jura Mountains are nearby, offering invigorating hikes and stunning views.

After a day full of activities, our spacious garden is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the tranquility. Whether you're basking in the sun or simply taking in the peaceful surroundings, you'll find our garden a perfect spot to relax and recharge.

We live on the border between the French and German-speaking regions of Switzerland, an area rich in culture and famous for its excellent wine. Morat, at a 15 minute drive to the other side of the lake, is one of Switzerland's most enchanting medieval towns. With its well-preserved walls and charming old town, Morat (also known as Murten) offers a glimpse into history while providing modern delights, from vibrant festivals to cozy cafes.
