We are a family of four, my wife - Krystal, myself - Greg and our son Oscar (13) and daughter Adney (10). We have our business publishing magazines as well as a couple of cabins we rent out. We like to have one foot in the system and one foot out of the system, which means we're self employed and we do things like garden, bake our own bread, cook our own meals, be the change we want to see in the world like installing an off grid solar system and have our well. We live rural for many reasons, we love it, and we like to share this place too.

We treat travellers like family, you live with us (although there's accommodation away from he house too if you prefer). We won't use you, overwork you or take advantage of you - visiting our home is about your trip too - we want you to go away with great memories. With all the animals, garden and kids, you're bound to learn something from us and we hop to learn something from you too.
We have a 65 acre property, with 2 dogs (Roxy & Cargo), 2 donkeys (Noodles & Janey), 2 cats (Clawdius & Freddie), 2 budgies (Emerald & Snowflake), a cockatiel (Peaches), a horse (Arnie), a "pet" raven (Roger), Rabbits (4 of them), and and an aquarium filled with fish that do not have names!
English, a little Spanish, and some French
You get a room in the the house, bed, dresser, running water, shower etc, it's our home.... or we have a room above our barn (not stinky) but there's no running water there, both have access to wi-fi.
There is an immense amount of hiking opportunities in our area - even right from our home as we live on a mountainside. We have access to a lake right in front of our house or you can lounge around on the deck, by the pond. Carcross is 12kms away, an easy bike ride, but really, we're rural and remote by most standards, yet less than an hour from Whitehorse.
