    Description

    Hello!

We are a family of 4, living in the south of Holland. My mom (64), my two brothers (27,22) and one daughter, me! (24)
We have a big farm with a really big garden and some horses, chickens, birds, cats and a dog. We live outside the city but close to public transport. (15 min by bike).

My mom works and lives at our farm, my oldest brother currently lives in another village but visits the farm every other weekend. My youngest brother is studying and currently still lives at the farm too. I currently live and work in Tilburg, but I also visit the farm every week :).

We are looking for independent workawayers, at the moment we are looking for couples/friends (minimum of 2 persons) who can help us with the gardenwork and some other small projects.

On our free days (mostly Saturday and Sunday) We are happy to show you around the area and to take you to the local hotspots. Or you could chill in the swimming pool on the hotter days (open from June)!

You could sleep in your own private caravan or cabin which is on our land.

Our preferable stay is 1 - 1,5 weeks!

ATTENTION: ONLY NOT SMOKERS, NO DRUGS ALLOWED

We would love to share our way of living with you and tell you about The Netherlands and Dutch culture. We can also guide or take you to some local spots which we enjoy, for example a typical old Dutch mill. We also have nice swimming pool which you could use during the warmer days to cool down or relax.

If you're interested, my mom teaches Dutch to refugees and she'd be more than happy to teach you as well.
Furthermore, we all speak English and are always open to share and learn, so if you want to improve your English, you’re at the right address ;)

You can learn everything about gardening and green energy around here!

We live on a farm with a big garden, accompanied by some horses, chickens, birds, cats and a dog.

We are looking for someone who could help us with work in the garden or in the house. It's up to you! You could also do both, or a combination.

    Work in the garden
Working with my mom in The garden. We have our own little farm grown kitchen garden, so you could help picking some berries, apples, pears, walnuts or cherries!
Furthermore you could help us cutting the hedges, mowing the grass, cleaning up branches and other small tasks like that.

    Cleaning in the house
If you don't like the garden, or if you want to combine it, you could also help my mom cleaning the house. This would include cleaning the tables, and other furniture. Or help with the cooking, cleaning or vacuuming.

And if you have any suggestions on what you would like to do, just let us know! My mom is really nice and appreciates all kinds of work and help!

    What else ...

We live outside of the city in a calm green farm area, nevertheless, public transport is only 15 minutes by bike and could take you to bigger Dutch cities like Breda and Tilburg in about 30-45 minutes.

We would be more than happy to show you around or tell you about places we'd recommend, if we have the time available, which most of the time, we do :).

All four of us are very welcoming open-minded people, and so far only had lovely workaway experiences which we always love sharing stories about.
