Description
Hi there! I’m Kirana, and my husband is Kung. We’re happy to welcome volunteers who enjoy being around children and are willing to play, chat, and interact with our 3-year-old in English, Chinese, or Japanese, as well as help with simple tasks around the house. You don’t need to be fluent in English — it’s totally fine if you're not confident. We just ask that you try your best to communicate.
📍Please read our full profile before sending a message.
📍We can host only one volunteer at a time (we only have one extra seat in the car!).
📍We cannot host volunteers with specific dietary restrictions or smokers.
📍We prefer volunteers who can stay at least 2 weeks, so we have enough time to connect and live together comfortably.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Life here is simple and peaceful. We don’t have much, so please don’t expect anything fancy — just a quiet place to slow down, reflect, and connect.
You’ll have your own personal time, along with moments to share with us. We’re learning to live more sustainably, and you’ll be part of that journey — simple living, close to nature, but not completely isolated.
The area is mostly farmland with no major entertainment nearby. If you’d like to visit the city on your day off, we can give you a ride if we happen to be going.
We enjoy sharing meals and cultural conversations — yours and ours — during lunch or dinner. It’s a lovely way to learn from one another.
Please note: life moves slowly here. If you need constant interaction or attention, this might not be the best fit. We’re often busy, so we appreciate patience and respect for personal space — for yourself and for everyone around you.
If you choose to stay with us, we hope to live together like a small family — sharing, supporting, and learning from each other.
And lastly, your presence influences the people and nature around us — so please always be kind and mindful.

Accommodation
You’ll stay in a separate volunteer house with one private room (about 20 sqm) and your own bathroom. A fan is provided, and if you prefer air-conditioning, you can donate 150 THB per day.
You are responsible for cleaning your room and taking care of your bed (mattress, pillow, and bedsheet are provided), as well as keeping the common areas tidy.
What else ...
Here's some more information;
1. Work Day & Day off :
Work days: We'll agree on working hours together.
Days off: You can relax or explore Nakhon Pathom when we go out. We provide accommodation, but food on days off is self-catered.
🚗 Note: There’s no public transport nearby — trips to the city are only possible when we go, and we can adjust the schedule to suit everyone.
2. Food and Drink : Please bring your own tea or coffee.
Lunch and dinner are provided on workdays. Breakfast is self-catered. Please help set the table and clean up after meals.
3. Cleanliness :
Clean yourself and shoes before entering the house.
Keep your room and bathroom tidy.
Shower every day.
Men, please use the toilet — not outdoors.
Small laundry: hand wash. Large loads: we’ll help with the washing machine.
Follow our zero-waste system. Ask before throwing anything away.
4. What to bring : Personal essentials: sandals for outside, towel, toothbrush, sunscreen, medicine, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
5. Local sight:
We’re surrounded by agricultural fields. Walking around isn’t recommended due to stray dogs — if you do, it’s at your own risk. In Nakhon Pathom city, you can visit temples, King Rama X’s old palace, parks, and enjoy street food.
6. For ladies :
If you use non-compostable pads or tampons, please dispose of them outside. We suggest reusable cups, sea sponges, or cotton pads to support our eco-friendly lifestyle.
7. For Visa application:
We don’t provide invitation letters or our address for visa applications. Please use your hotel’s address instead.
❤️ Final Note
If you’ve read everything and still feel excited to join, please write to us with the subject line “I love muffin” so we know you understand our lifestyle and values. We truly appreciate helping hands and caring hearts.
How to come to our place;
Please go to Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai) at Talingchan and take van route Bangkok - Dan Chang (No. 994) and get off at PTT fuel gas station (Tab Yai Taow), opposite of VOne Hotel and then we'll pick you up. It'll take around 1 hour and 15 mins. Our place is 15 km from the city of Nakhon Pathom, 30 mins by car.
**Please note that you'll have to confirm ticket with us to make sure it is the right route.
