We bake our own bread and cakes, brew English style beer and create home cooked meals. We rarely if ever buy ready made recipes preferring to avoid processed food.
We always walk the dogs after the evening meal then are happy to socialise.
No lights at night star gazing is amazing.
In the winter we spend evenings by the fire, board games or movies are the norm.
Long summer evenings outside relaxing are always good.
We prefer volunteers who are happy to live as part of the group during their stay.
Living along side people we prefer to get to know who is sharing our home.
We are not comfortable with "Trap door spider" types, only appearing at meal times.
We would prefer people that are willing to help prepare meals if asked and the inevitable clearing away afterwards.
We are happy to cook alongside people to share our cuisine, recipes and methods.
