Hello! I'm Elena, full time traveller from Russia, currently living in USA in a van, that me and my husband built from an old ambulance.
**I use this account for myself only**

I am traveling for the past 7 years nonstop (14 years of active travel in total). I’ve been to 54 countries, including most of Latin America, Europe, some places in Africa and Asia.

As a traveler I am interested in local culture (traditions, indigenous culture), hiking and camping in the mountains. I love writing about my experiences, and always looking for a unique adventure. I am not a party person, and little introverted (although i love having a good conversation and make friends, but I am shy in the big groups of people).

I work online on my own projects (one of them is a travel blog and social media marketing). I’ve done volunteering in the hotels and travel agencies, where I worked as a travel leader, translator, content creator, and helped with the cleaning.

I met my husband on one of the Workaway projects in Colombia 5 years ago ❤️

What i can offer?

- I speak Russian, English and Spanish, so i can help with translation and catering tourist who speak different languages.
- Content creation on social media (short videos, text articles)
- Anything related to travel, as I am traveling almost a half of my life.
- Cleaning, helping with the small tasks. I dont mind “boring” work, getting dirty or physical work. I grew up in a village and helped my grandmother on the land.
-Welcoming guests, answering their questions, solving problems.
-I worked as an event photographer(concerts, tours), documenting the life around me is a part of my current job.
- I had lots of pets like turtle, parrot, cats, and three dogs, and I love to help with animal care.
-I am open to the new experience. If its an interesting work, i usually dive into it and don’t mind doing extra.

What I DO NOT offer:

- Organising parties, pub crawls, games.
- Painting, decorating or other type of artistic tasks. I stick with functional things. I can show you my van so you understand my taste in pretty things 😅
- Child care.

*️️️Finished Photo college as a fashion photographer. Travel photography is my passion. Also worked with local music bands as a concert photographer, made some photosessions for them).
*️️️I have diving license as advance diver (+nitrox). I don't sweam well though =)
*️️️I have big experience with travelling, I've visited 44 countries at the moment.
*️️️ I worked in Finland and Chile in hotel by workaway and in Ecuador and Chile in tour agency (helped with languages and translated the guide on tours).
*️️️I write a blog and active on FB, Instagram etc.
*️️️I speak Russian (native language), English (fluent, I finished a language school in Canada), Spanish (speak well now after 2 years in South America, I studied it also for years before), French (very basic, only 3 month of classes).
*️️️I danced boogie-woogie for 5 years, took part in competitions =)
*️️️ I had dogs and cats at my house, I know how to take care of them.
*️️️I can help, of course, with general maintenance, cleaning, washing dishes, etc. Its very relaxing and pleasant for me.
No childcare, child teaching , etc - as far as I'm very shy with kids.

Hobbies:
hiking, rock climbing, camping and all sorts of outdoor activities;
have a diving license but didn’t practice for a long time;
was dancing boogie-woogie for 3 years;
lived in a van, that we built ourselves with my husband;
finished fashion photography school;
I love trying different activities and don’t like to do the same thing for a long time.
