Hey guys,

I‘m Max , 24 years old from Germany. Currently I‘am travelling the world and want to explore all it‘s beautiful places, cultures and of course to get in touch with the locals. And I think workaway might be on of the best options to do so.

Back in 2018/19 I was travelling New Zealand for almost one year and had a great time using workaway. It was a very unique experience:) So I really want to to that again here in Vietnam and gather some new good experience:)

I started my travels in March 2024 and so far I‘ve been to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

I did a three years apprenticeship as a carpenter and worked for about 1.5 years as a carpenter. But building/gardening or let‘s say working outside in general is a fun thing to do.

But after working for 1.5 years and slowly getting sucked into an everyday routine I finally decided to make my dream come true and started backpacking around the world. That sometimes means to get out of your comfortzone but that‘s probably the whole point of it. Getting known to new people and cultures or meeting some fellow travellers is really something I‘m looking forward to:)

Having good conversations over a beer or discuss almost every topic you van imagine is something I really enjoy. Besides that I like hiking, diving almost all the outdoor activities. Back in NZ I did skydiving, a good thing to do. Also I quite like reading books. I‘m really keen to learn scuba diving and surfing. These to things might be on the top of my bucket list:)

I have experience as a carpenter. Means I can work with timber and do the framing and roofing. Some knowledge in building/construction in general due to my apprenticeship and time at the constructionzone.

Besides I like working outside in heneral and do some gardening. When I was in NZ I worked at an avocado orchard for about 2 months and helped to build a hop plantation.
