I’m Viktoria, a 20 year old from Hamburg, Germany
After graduating last year, I want to use my gap-year to indulge in one of my favorite activities- traveling and getting to see new places.
I love to socialize and like meeting new people along the way .
I’m planning on studying Sociology or Communication Science and have always been interested in learning about how people interact and why we behave the way we do.
Working with children and teenagers at an English learning center made me realize how joyful engaging with young learners can be. Thus, I am interested in working/ spending time with children while traveling and learning from others and giving back.

Quais são suas habilidades?
What comes to mind first when I think about my skills is my ability to communicate with others and my eagerness to learn new things. Having attended a school with a humanistic approach focusing on history and languages, such as Latin and Greek, I am especially interested in getting insight into different cultures and learning new languages.
My native language is German, in addition to that I am fluent in English and Dutch and I just started learning Spanish.
After graduating, I started working at an English learning center (HelenDoronEarlyEnglish) for 6 months.
I got to work with groups with up to 8 children (aged 4-9)and teenagers aged (10-15).
I immediately noticed how rewarding working with children can be.
Since especially the pedagogical part of teaching really appealed to me, I would love to continue working with children during my time as a Workawayer.
I enjoy spending time with kids and have experience tutoring and babysitting children of different age.
