  Hello everyone!
  
  My name is Claudio, and I’m very happy to welcome you to our Workaway experience 🙂Let me introduce our family.
  
  I live in an apartment in the city center with my partner Kasia, who is originally from Poland. She works remotely in the finance sector for a multinational company.
  My parents, Maria Teresa and Carmelo, live in our large family villa by the sea, right in front of a beautiful Sicilian beach. At the moment, they also share the house with two friends, Simona and her daughter Aurora.
  We also have two lovely Chihuahua dogs, Leo and Chicco.
  The villa has a swimming pool and large outdoor spaces, and it is where most family life and daily activities take place.
  
  About me:
  I am an entrepreneur with a background in industrial electrotechnics (electrical systems and industrial automation), and I also hold degrees in Law and Tourism Sciences.
  I manage our family business and own an agency abroad focused on real estate and tourism. I enjoy working, studying marketing, and developing new projects, especially online ones.
  For the past eight years, I have also been teaching Italian as a foreign language online. I started this while living in Russia, where I spent three years, and I continue to do it today.
  I am passionate about photography and previously worked as a photographer and video reporter.
  In my free time, I enjoy reading, relaxing on the beach - I like fixing broken things, doing electronics work, I'm a radio enthusiast (I'm a radio amateur), boats, and many other passions.
  
  About my family:
  My mother works at the city hall and loves singing. She is wonderful at organizing pool parties and small gatherings for guests and friends, and she always makes people feel welcome.
  My father works in maintenance for holiday houses, and I often work together with him.
  As mentioned, my partner Kasia works remotely in finance for a multinational company and is used to an international working environment. She enjoys meeting people from different cultures.
  
  Our family atmosphere:
  We are a very open-minded, friendly, and easy-going family, and we truly enjoy sharing our daily life with our guests. You will not feel like a customer, but like part of the family.
  
  People from southern Italy are generally warm and welcoming, and we love sharing our home, our food, and our traditions with others.
  We have already hosted many volunteers through Workaway, and every experience has been wonderful. We are still in touch with all of them 🙂
  
  We truly enjoy having guests in our home and spending time together.
  We hope to welcome you into our family very soon!

  By staying with us, you will experience daily life in an Italian family and enjoy a real cultural exchange. If you are interested in the Italian language, culture, and a warm family atmosphere, you will feel at home here.
  
  One of the main things you can learn is Italian, in a natural and fun way, simply by living and communicating with us every day.
  
  Food is also a big part of our culture. My family and I love cooking, and we often prepare meals together. We would be happy to share our recipes, organize dinners, and enjoy good food with you.

  Ajuda

  We live in a beautiful area and are looking for a reliable and practical person to share daily life with us and help take care of our home.
  
  The help is mainly with everyday household tasks: keeping living spaces clean and tidy, helping with laundry and linens, gardening, and general maintenance.
  
  The commitment is around 5 hours a day, leaving plenty of free time to relax, explore the surroundings, or enjoy your own interests. You will also have two full days off each week.
  
  We’re looking for someone who is responsible, easy-going, and comfortable with practical tasks, and who enjoys living in a calm and respectful family environment.
  
  You will live with us and be treated as part of the family, sharing meals, conversations, and daily routines. This is not a formal job setting, but a collaboration based on trust, respect, and helping each other, where everyone contributes to keeping the home a nice place to live.

  Workaway's program is not a job opportunity, but a unique adventure wherein you'll become an integral part of our family. You'll get to experience our daily routines and habits firsthand. Hence, we expect our volunteers to possess a good understanding of their responsibilities, demonstrate unwavering commitment, and show initiative at all times.
  This experience is not simply a budget-friendly holiday, but a truly extraordinary opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the rich culture of Sicily. It offers a unique chance to fully embrace and understand the nuances of Sicilian traditions, customs, and way of life.
  
  The train station is conveniently located around 2km away from our house. If you wish to explore other parts of Sicily during your free time, we are more than happy to assist you with your travel plans. We can provide guidance and help you make the most of your adventures.
  Additionally, our house is just a short 100m walk from the beach. You'll have easy access to enjoy the beautiful coastline. Moreover, our pool is situated right next to the beach, offering you a fantastic and refreshing experience. You're bound to love it!
  When it comes to airports in Sicily, there are four options available. However, I would suggest arriving in Palermo. Similarly, if you decide to arrive by train, we'll make sure to pick you up from the train station.
