Hi Everyone!

We are Regina and Markó, a young Hungarian couple from Budapest, eager for exciting adventures.
Since 2022, we’ve been living together in the Hungarian capital, but both of us have rural roots, and we truly miss being close to nature.

About Us

Markó
25 years old, an horticultural engineer passionate about nature who has successfully passed on this love to Regina. His expertise and enthusiasm for plants are truly impressive.
Markó has extensive knowledge in plant care and sustainable gardening practices.
With his recent carpentry qualification, Markó has basic woodworking skills. Although he’s still a beginner, he’s eager and open to new challenges in this field.

Regina
28 years old, working in dentistry, but her true passion lies in healthy living and nutrition. In her free time, she enjoys taking care of Kifli, our dog, and constantly seeks new ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Herbal knowledge and its application are one of our shared passions.

Both of us speak English – Markó at a fluent level, and Regina is conversational but improving. Additionally, we are enthusiastic about learning new languages.

Kifli
Our dog, 4 years old, 16 kg, a neutered male Border Collie mix, is an inseparable part of our family and a true adventure buddy. He joins us on all our trips and we’d love for him to be part of this Workaway adventure as well.
Kifli is extremely well-socialized and loves the company of new people and animals. His friendly nature and excellent adaptability make him fit seamlessly into any new environment.

Our Motivation

We often go hiking and traveling, mostly in Europe, but now we feel ready for something more.

We want to:
• Deepen our understanding of different cultures
• Build connections with local people
• Spend more time in one place, not just as tourists
• Actively participate in the lives of local communities
• Develop our skills and gain new experiences

Our Experience

Although we currently live in Budapest, we regularly spend time in the countryside. On weekends, we often visit Markó’s family in Vác, a small town in Pest County, or Regina’s family in Eastern Hungary. These occasions always remind us how much we love rural life and work.

Our passion is traveling and discovering new places. The three of us have already visited several countries, which has not only enriched us with experiences but also strengthened our adaptability and openness.
