Hey there! I am Jasmin from Germany. Now that I have finished my studies, I am embracing the freedom to travel again for an extended period of time and am currently in Australia on a working holiday.

I have traveled to parts of Europe, New Zealand and Africa. My semester abroad in New Zealand had a particularly strong impact on me and I will never forget it. Along the way, I met wonderful people, learned about the language and culture of the indigenous people (Māori) and simply enjoyed the breathtaking landscapes.

Beyond traveling, I have a variety of interests that keep me active and engaged. I love to read (always open to book recommendations!), play board games and spend time outdoors - whether it is going for a run, hitting the gym or just being in nature.

I look forward to meeting hosts and other workawayers, immersing myself in their culture and experiencing their way of life!

With a background in computer science and work experience in IT, I have developed valuable skills in web and mobile app development as well as graphic and user interface design.

That said, I am eager to step outside the tech world and gain hands-on experience in other fields. I am especially interested in hospitality, gardening, farm work, community service and crafts. I consider myself reliable, friendly and hardworking, always willing to learn and take on new challenges. I do not mind getting my hands dirty and am excited to try new things!
