Information du profil

 - Information de voyage- Actuellement, je suis - à la maison
 - Description- Hello!
My names Eve, I'm a 27y/o woman from England taking a 3-month career break this summer to immerse myself in remote, rural life. I have a degree in BSc Animal Science, currently work as a Teaching Technician at Bristol Veterinary School, and have hands-on experience working with a range of animals.
I'm practical, down to earth, a great team player, and happiest when outdoors working with animals. Looking to lend a capable pair of hands to a farm, ranch, or animal-focused project this summer.
Accommodation and meals needed - a paid role would be amazing too! Unfortunately no transport.

 - Langues- Langues parlées
Anglais: Courant- Plus de détails sur les langues qui m'intéressent
Being typically British, I only know one language (plus a very basic bit of Spanish). I would be interested in learning a new language, preferably French or Spanish.
 - Quelles sont vos compétences ?- I seemed to have accrued a random array of skills throughout my life so far...
 - Great with horses - proficient rider, but more importantly, proficient in reading an animal to ensure they are happy and comfortable.
 - Happy with all animals - spent a lot of time with dogs especially, but comfortable handling other animals (although no swans please!). I assist with the teaching of Equine, Bovine, Ovine, Porcine and Avian basic handling with our vet students. I have a strong understanding to carry out basic health checks, and would be happy managing feeds.
 - A people person - I am very much a people person and love when a working role involves a social side. Have people visiting the farm, or taking people out on tours? I could chat for hours!
 - Happiest when away from my desk. I'm a physical doer, please don't put me behind a desk!
 - Comfortable with tools like knives - My current role requires assistance in the dissection labs and I used to work in a butchers, so very happy to give a hand with the more 'messy' tasks on a ranch.
 - Good with DIY - I've often got the drill out, updating old furniture, fixing bits around the house ect.
 - A good (some would say great...) cook. I really enjoy cooking and would be happy to cook for large groups.
 - Full clean UK driving licence for >9years.
 - Forklift trained.
 - I have a great ability to fit into any team and I'm a fast worker. I can quickly assess a situation and know where my help is best utilised. I hate standing around and doing nothing so jobs will get done quickly with me!
 - I'm a generally clean and tidy person. I have high attention to detail so wouldn't do a bad job of cleaning.
