Hi! I am Tristan, 35yo from Paris. I used to be researcher in neuroscience in Paris and Edinburgh. I quit academia five years ago in order to make new experiences of work, life and meet new people. After a trip in Italy doing workayway and learning Italian, I decided to live for a while in Marseille. I have been teaching there for two years with children with disabilities. I am now unemployed and want to travel again.

I have been volunteering in various associations for the last 5 years, teaching french for migrants, social caring in a psychiatric hospital, help to homeless people, cook/waiter for an associative restaurant, seller in a second hand shop, help for an art festival and I give some help to a ewes shepherdess for a few days...
I am quite interested in plants, at some point I was willing to start a training in gardening but couldn't find a proper training. I started to be involve in various projects in Marseille for building an urban forest, developping permaculture, helping in a plant nursury and in a botanical garden. I did short trainings for beginners (3days) to recognize wild comestible plants, and to do plant graftings.
In my daily routine, I like to have coffee with friends, read, enjoy the sun, play in the broad sens, harvest seeds.
I am openminded, curious and adaptable. I like to learn new experiences, meet new people, discover new places, other way of living, or thinking in order to get to know me better and to know what I want to do next.
