    Hi there, I'm Sam but often nicknamed Smiles!

    I've always been one with nature, as that's how I grew up, and it has led me to Eco-homes and villages around the UK and Europe. My fondest times have been within Wales, Sweden and various Caribbean countries working with the land and natural resources to create eco-homes, permacultures, and farming for communities.

    I find myself wanting to learn constantly and apply what I've learnt. Always happy to try something new and progress.

  • Quelles sont vos compétences ?

    I started my career and life within the film industry so am very comfortable with a camera and editing film, but I have drifted away from this skillset and I've found truer callings in my life.

    For the past six years, I have professionally been working in kitchens that vary from fine-dining to bread baker to head chef of a vegan café. I'm very competent at vegan cooking with fruit, veg, pulses, grains, beans, and everything in between! I'm also a great bread maker and have had lots of experience with various types of bread. My speciality is within naturally fermented dough that doesn't use a yeast. I find the whole process fascinating and grounding.

    I've helped at an allotment in the UK for two years growing vegetables, salad leaves, and some fruits and berries. This has taught me about the earth and how to work with it in all conditions. I have general maintenance skills around the house that lie mainly within working with wood, but this is still a skill I would love to learn more about.

    Skills that I have as hobbies include sailing, swimming, running, bodyweight exercising, playing music (drums mainly), and meditation.
