Help with gardening and enjoy a spectacular view of the Aegean Sea in Andros, Greece

  Description

  Hello! We are Melisa and Dimitri, living on the beautiful island of Andros in Greece, in a nice house with a 3000m2 garden, extremely quiet with an astonishing view on the sea, but also very near the splendid, graphic and extremely touristic town of Batsi. We have 40+ olive trees and some other fruit trees. We would like to host travellers in exchange for help working in our garden and for olive harvesting. We are fluent in French, English, Greek, Turkish and Armenian, and notions of Italian and Spanish. The house is located 5min by car/scooter up-hill from Batsi (20 minutes walking). We have 2 rooms available for hosting. We would be happy to share our house with you and help you visit the area outside the gardening hours (we will get you to / take you from Batsi whenever we can, give you recommendations, etc...).

  We are an international couple who has travelled a lot, lived in multiple countries and speaks many languages. You may share the house with another workawayer, and between April and October you will definitely meet so many people in our touristic town of Batsi !
  
  On our side, we adore meeting people from all around the world and discover new cultures :). Dimitri is member and volunteer of the main hiking community in Andros and will be delighted to show you some of the best tracks of the island.

  Aide

  Depending on the season: harvesting olives (september-october), pruning olive trees (january-feburary), water the trees (april-october), clear the weeds (spring), help maintain the garden, planting seeds (spring)...
  Most tasks we will do together, although we can have limited availability due to our jobs. No specific skill required !

  We have 2 rooms in our house for workawayers:
  - One is a room with a double-bed
  - The other is a room with a single-bed
  Both rooms are quiet and private.
  
  Do you like greek and turkish cuisine? You can share our meals and have free access to the food in the house, you are free to cook yourself if you want. Trust us, you won't starve, far from it :)
