Hi, my name is Olga and I live in Italy. At the moment I work as a teacher in a middle school in Milan and as an art therapist. I started working in this field after an internship in a refugee camp in Thessaloniki (Greece) where, together with a colleague of mine, we worked with teenagers and women carrying out an art therapy project. I've always thought that Art can be a great resource and a way to communicate without words, expressing emotions and thoughts.
At the moment I also carry out workshops related to the theme of eco-sustainability, vegetable gardens and nature. I have recently started to get closer to these issues but I have always had a great passion, I was born in the countryside and nature has always been part of my life.
I had various experiences abroad, thanks to an Erasmus in Spain, in Granada and a period of work in London. I like to learn from the new places I explore, being able to take away an experience is the best souvenir you can get....

I'm half Italian and half Polish but unfortunately... I don't speak Polish. This is why when I was younger I decided to learn as many languages ​​as possible... This is why when I travel I always carry a small notebook where I can write down all the new words I manage to learn.As for teaching, I work in a middle school where we often have beginner language lessons. I'm not an Italian teacher but I like being able to try to teach my language.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Through my work as an art therapist I often find myself having to create, using the most disparate materials. I like working with manual skills to find new ideas and creative solutions.
I'm used to organize and plan and work in a group, sharing is caring !!!

I have often had the opportunity to work in schools and not always everyone speaks italian because maybe they have recently arrived, I like teaching my mother tongue and learning new languages. right now i'm trying to learn polish, my mother's language... so far without much success but i'm very stubborn.

Even if there aren't many green areas in Milan I'm trying to grow a small vegetable garden on my tiny balcony, we celebrated the birth of a mini cucumber for a long time. I would like to learn a lot more about vegetable gardens.

i worked for four months in a hostel in london and i learned how to make beds at the speed of light... now i've lost a bit of technique but just get back into the loop...

What else? i am definitely a bookworm... I think it can be entered as a skill
