Description
Hi there!
I’m Noëlle from the Netherlands — an open-minded, caring and hands-on person with a big heart for animals and nature.
I currently work in the field of social work and mental health care, supporting people in daily life and emotional wellbeing. In my free time I volunteer at a local animal shelter, and over the years I’ve also helped in shelters and rescue centers abroad — in Spain, Mexico, Morocco and Portugal.
I travel through Europe with my own rescue dog, Rani. She’s calm, gentle and well-behaved around people and most animals. When I travel outside Europe she stays safely at home, but in Europe she usually joins me on my adventures.
I love working with dogs, cats, horses and farm animals, and I truly enjoy being part of a team that values kindness, respect and learning from each other. I’m always happy to help with daily care, feeding, cleaning, walking, or simply giving attention to animals who need it.
Besides animal care, I’m also open to learning new skills — gardening, eco-projects, hospitality, or anything creative and meaningful.
What motivates me most is seeing positive change — in people or in animals — that comes from patience, trust and love.
Looking forward to connecting and contributing wherever I can make a difference!

I’ve always loved languages and the way they connect people and cultures. I’m especially interested in improving my French, Spanish and Portuguese, but I’m open to learning any language along the way. It has always been a bit of a dream to speak several languages fluently, and I see travelling as the perfect way to learn naturally from daily life and conversations. I’m also happy to help others with English or Dutch if they want to practice!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
care and welfare.
For many years I’ve volunteered in animal shelters and rescue centers in the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Mexico and Morocco, caring for dogs, cats and horses.
I’m confident in all daily care tasks: feeding, walking, cleaning, grooming, assisting with medication, and spending calm, patient time with animals who need to rebuild trust. I have a soft spot for shy or traumatized animals and a lot of experience helping them feel safe again through structure, patience and gentle interaction.
I also have over 20 years of experience with horses — I’ve been riding since I was five years old, both English and Western style. I’m very comfortable with stable work, feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, and assisting during rides or groundwork. Horses have always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy being around them both on the ground and in the saddle.
My professional background in social work and mental health helps me read behaviour, stay calm under pressure, and provide a safe, understanding environment — for both animals and people.
I enjoy working outdoors and being part of a small, dedicated team that truly values animal wellbeing. I’m responsible, organized and independent, but always happy to learn new routines or adapt to the needs of the animals.
Additional useful skills:
– Photography and social media (for awareness or rescue promotion)
– Basic gardening or outdoor maintenance if needed
– Cooking healthy meals for shared use
Above all, my strength lies in creating calm, safe environments for animals and contributing to projects that make a real difference for them.

Autres infos...
I usually travel with my own rescue dog, Rani, when I’m exploring within Europe.
She’s calm, friendly and well-behaved around animals. It’s important for me to find places where she is welcome and can stay safely on the property.
When I travel outside Europe, she stays at home — but during my European trips she’s my little companion and part of the experience.
Besides that, I love music, photography, hiking, being outdoors and connecting with people who share a love for animals and nature.
I truly enjoy quiet environments, good conversations, and a meaningful exchange with others.
