Hello, my name is Meggi! I recently received my degree in interior architecture, and now I have the opportunity to go travel through Southeast Asia. I am very curious to learn and be exposed to new cultures. My goal is to gain experience outside the academic field and discover new interests. It brings me a lot of joy to meet new people and help out in any way I can. I have some experience working behind a reception and I have practical experience in painting, crafts, creative projects and doing some handy work from my time at university. My goal is to continue my master studies in the field of psychology behind cultures, and during my time of traveling, I hope to embark on new communities, learn about different norms and values, have a great adventure and meet people on the way. I think the best way to learn is from encounters with other people and by embracing the unexpected moments.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I enjoy tackling new jobs and therefore have a versatile list of skills:

- I speak fluent Dutch and English
- I have worked as a part time receptionist for 3 years, I am social and love greeting people!
- I have also worked in the elderly care and my task consisted of housekeeping, cooking and helping with taking medicine
- I have done various jobs in cafe's and restaurants as a cook and also know how to work independently
- I have studied interior architecture at the university of the arts
- I am creative, attentive to my work, I have some experience in the wood workstation place, I am quite handy and have completed many of my own projects
- I have good communication skills, I have given a lot of presentations and know how to bring over an idea or thought
- I have done an internship of 6 months at an architectural bureau
- I have experience with the Creative Cloud programs, like InDesign, Illustrator e.t.c
- I know how to make booklets and posters, and how to edit photo's or images
- I have done volunteering work at a pets shelter
- I can take care of children, I have two nephews and I have done various baby sitting jobs

I love embracing new tasks, especially in the creative field! I think the best way to learn is by just taking on a job and learn though practice.
