Heyoo Folks,
My name is May, I'm a 26 year old German and I'm dreaming about coming here to NZ since I'm 15. My goal is and was all along to determine if the county and their people fit to me and my future plans, so to see if I would like to stay here. I'm so happy about the opportunity to work and stay with different families to experience the daily life and way of Kiwis.

In the same time a big motivation is to find inspiration to further build my personality. There are a lot of different things I'd like to see and experience to pinpoint who I'd like to be in my future.
As I'm very open, and eager to learn and to see new aspects of life, I find inspiration in a wide variety of day to day situations. I find it in people, in nature, in movement and in art.
Activities which bring me happiness are photography, hiking, dancing, working with horses, singing, gardening and cooking.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My English is relatively good by now, so I feel confident to communicate specific information and help with English homework if needed.
I spent most of my life in proximity to horses and know how basic care is done. In the last years I had no opportunity to spend time with any horse, so I'd love to freshen up my memory and my love to these beautiful animals.
I'm a strong build, and therefore I enjoy to be entrusted with physically challenging jobs. I have a good technical understanding and I learn quite fast, so that I'm a practical allrounder.
In Germany I regularly worked on the fields of a local social gardening society so I know how planting, weeding and harvesting by hand is done.
In the course of three and a half years I learned how to be a medical massage therapist and physiotherapist back in Germany. Through the following four years of working experience I built a lot of empathy and communication skills. Also I gained good medical knowledge and a field of work I really burn for. I love to spread positivity for movement and help people to be in less pain.
I very much enjoy cooking meals, and am especially good in pasta dishes. I'd definitely like to learn more about local and seasonal ingredients.
In most of the jobs which I do I'm quite slow, but that's mostly because I enjoy the process and do everything very thoroughly.
