Hello everyone,
I'm Emanuela, I'm a very open-minded and friendly person who’s always excited about discovering new things, meeting interesting people, and embracing fresh experiences. Life is full of opportunities to learn and grow, and I believe in taking full advantage of them.

I love the beauty of diversity. It's fascinating to meet people from all walks of life, each with their own unique story and perspective. For me, every conversation is an opportunity to learn something new, whether it's a different way of thinking, a new culture, or an interesting hobby. Curiosity is something I live by, and it drives me to explore and connect with others in meaningful ways.

Nature is a big part of my life. I find that being in nature allows me to reconnect with myself, recharge, and feel truly free. Whether it’s a hike in the mountains, a walk through the park, or simply sitting by the sea, nature helps me clear my mind and appreciate the simple things.

As a young product designer, I am driven to create objects that can not only improve the condition of our planet, but create new habits and a new way of using objects that is in line with the circular economy. Having a sustainable approach in my work is what excites me. In my everyday life, I try to make more sustainable choices for the health of our planet and that is why I would like to learn about and explore production techniques with the same goal in my work as well.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Here is a list of my skills, experience and abilities:
- basic education for children: I attended humanities high school, which allowed me to study pedagogy and other humanities subjects. I gained experience in a kindergarten with children aged 3 to 5 years working alongside a teacher. This background allows me to know the world of children and their way of thinking. I am able to create age-appropriate games or help with homework.
- animal care: I love animals and taking care of them I am very empathetic and this allows me to get close to their world. I am very familiar with cats. For other pets and I do not have much experience but I am ready to learn.
- cooking and housekeeping and other: I love cooking and both Italian and non-Italian food. I am vegan/vegetarian so I am familiar with a plant-based diet. I cook for myself but have had some experience preparing meals for 150 up to 300 people, within a camp, not in professional kitchens. I have lived alone for 4 years, so housework is not a routine for me.
- graphics and communication: my training as a product designer allows me to have software knowledge to create graphics but also strategic skills for effective communication.
- prototyping small/medium sized objects: being a product designer for 3 years in university, I have made prototypes with different materials: wood, polystyrene, plexiglass and thermoplastics. Then I also use with basic skills some machinery: milling machine, drill press, hacksaw, hot wire, sander, laser cutting, 3D printing and others. Basic skills on glues and screws.
- reuse of discarded materials: as a hobby, I like to create new items for my home that I need with materials I find or that I get discarded. Simple objects that also try to be aesthetically pleasing. I like not to spend a lot of money on these projects.
- creativity and problem solving: I like to think about a space creatively with colors and furniture, but also solve design problems with comparison and my own insights and knowledge and this is very exciting and challenging for me.
Soft skills: I love working in a team, I am empathetic and open to confrontation and listening. I am able to plan and organize group or individual work but I do not consider myself a leader. I am determined and if necessary I am precise in my work. I consider myself a curious and enthusiastic person. Advice is welcome!
