Manu is a food and drink enthusiast with an insatiable curiosity. He thrives on learning from others, whether it's trying new recipes or discovering local traditions. A natural extrovert, Manu is the kind of person who knows everyone, everywhere he goes—always ready to chat and connect. You’ll often find him soaking up the sun, embracing warm weather as his escape from the Canadian winter chill.
Laurie is a high-energy enthusiast. She's always eager for a challenge, whether it’s pushing herself to learn new skills or diving into hands-on experiences. Her passion for biology and self-sustenance drives her to explore innovative ways of living sustainably and connecting with nature.
Together, we’re a dynamic duo—versatile, hard-working, and always open to new experiences. Whether it’s tackling a job, meeting new people, or expanding our horizons, we believe in learning through doing. We value personal growth and are excited to embrace whatever comes our way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We both have rich backgrounds in the service industry, having worked in restaurants and cafés at different points in our lives—and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Manu, in particular, has extensive experience behind the bar as a bartender, mixing drinks and creating experiences for guests.
Laurie has a different, but equally hands-on background—growing up on a small farm with crops and pigs. Farm life has taught her the value of hard work, and she brings the basic knowledge of agriculture and livestock with her.
In addition to our diverse skill sets, we both hold first aid certifications and have experience in adventure tourism and outdoor activities. Manu is a certified lifeguard and has sailing experience, while Laurie, though newer to sailing, is skilled in outdoor guiding. Her expertise lies in leading hiking tours in the stunning Canadian Rockies, as well as in Via Ferrata—a thrilling mix of climbing and hiking.
Laurie has always been drawn to gardening and botany, and recently, she’s been diving deeper into the world of foraging. Manu, on the other hand, has advanced knowledge in this area and has mastered the art of transforming foraged ingredients into mouthwatering dishes.
