Hi there! We’re Laurine (26, from France) and Francis (35, from Quebec) — a friendly, easygoing couple currently road-tripping around New Zealand in our van, chasing good vibes, new adventures, and great connections!

We love meeting people, discovering new lifestyles, and getting involved in hands-on projects — whether it’s working with animals, gardening, cooking, cleaning, or helping around the house or property. We’re not afraid to get our hands dirty and always happy to learn something new!

We recently spent 3 amazing weeks volunteering on a horse farm: feeding and grooming horses, walking dogs, caring for chickens and cats, gardening, cleaning, and sharing meals with lovely people from all over the world. It was the kind of experience we’d love to live again!

Francis is the chef of the duo — he loves cooking tasty meals — and I (Laurine) enjoy creating cozy, clean spaces and making people feel at home.

We’re curious, reliable, calm, and full of good energy. We love simple living, sharing stories, laughing around a table, and giving our best wherever we land.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We’re a curious and active couple, always keen to learn new things and step out of our comfort zone. Coming to New Zealand was a way for us to reconnect with nature, meet inspiring people, and explore hands-on, meaningful work.

Laurine is a creative and energetic soul who grew up in the French countryside. She has experience working with children (as a camp counselor), in event logistics, and in retail. She’s also very practical and loves tackling DIY or artistic projects. Her passions? Photography, horse riding, and anything involving nature and animals.

Francis is a calm, kind, and versatile person. He’s worked in a variety of fields — including bakery, butchery, healthcare, and now in a public library — giving him strong people skills, adaptability, and a love for structured, reliable work. He’s also a passionate home cook who enjoys preparing meals for others.

Together, we’re a down-to-earth, hardworking team with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help, learn, and connect.
