Hey, I'm Jona,
a random dude from Germany who is looking for new experiences and new people to connect with.

I've always been curious about what life has to offer and always look forward to learning and discovering new things.
Since my first solo trips, I've been drawn to other countries and cultures more and more often and I really enjoyed the new impressions so much that I decided to travel for longer periods after my training.

The trips that followed, whether in a camper or as a backpacker and hitchhiker, had a lasting impact on my life. But I was mostly traveling alone and often longed for more meaningful connections with like-minded people. That's why I'm now looking forward to getting in touch with more people through this platform.

I would describe myself as a happy, motivated person who is very sociable. However, I sometimes struggle to break the ice at the beginning.
I´d say I am very curious and interested in all kinds of stuff like sports, singing, making music, meditation, DIY projects, anything related to self-improvement and psychology, the list goes on... - I always like to try something new.
I also like pushing myself out of my comfort zone from time to time and enjoy ecstatic dance sessions or joining strangers in random activities. I would also love to learn improvisational theater or something similar.

In the daily life, I'm easy to get on with and quick to adapt, as long as I'm allowed a few moments of solitude here and there. I enojy being with people but I also need some time alone to reconnect to myself and recharge my social batteries.
I find it always a real pleasure to be able to exchange ideas with passionate people, to delve deeply into philosophical questions or to discover new topics and ways of life :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

First of all, I’m someone who is very interested in learning and experiencing all kinds of new things.
I'm a quick learner and I’m open to a wide range of opportunities like gardening, home maintenance, teaching, painting, fixing various things, pet sitting and so on, so feel free to ask me anything and everything!

In terms of work experience: During the school holidays, I sometimes worked for a roofing company or in the assembly crew of a staircase construction company to earn some extra money as a holiday worker. After I finished school I did an internship as an electrician for a year. After that I completed a 3.5 year apprenticeship as a car mechanic.

During my following year of travel, I helped out as an automotive mechanics teacher at a local training center in West Africa.
Back in Germany I worked as a maintenance technician at a global semiconductor company.
In my free time I restore old cars and motorcycles, convert cars into campers, construct anything out of metal or wood and do many DIY stuff.

In general, I would be happy to have new experiences that allow me to interact more with people, so that I can improve my language skills and get better at getting to know new people.
