Description

I am a youthful 63-year-old who particularly likes to meet new people, discuss people's lives, and learn new insights about their experiences, and I love to complete physical work that may be needed.

I have been on several workaways, including farm stays and childcare.
I have eradicated alien plants and trees, taught children aged 4-18 years, provided companionship to the elderly, and looked after farms when the owner was away, sometimes for several weeks.

I have also completed strenuous tasks such as cutting irrigation ditches, plumbing, eradication of aliens, clearing bush, and building farm roads.

Profession-wise, I am a software designer in the education and self-development field. I have worked extensively with children and teenagers in schools, colleges, and universities, and with children in people's homes. Currently, I am working on a new software project while simultaneously working on Workaway.

I am a sober and responsible person who knows when to have fun and when work has precedence, and I am happy to help with any reasonable request.

I spent a significant period on a particular farm in Mpumalanga, which I found very rewarding. Pippa at WhatsApp at 073 471 7798 can be contacted to reference my character, and the work completed on the farm.
