  • Description

My name is Jame Kors, and I am currently 25 years old. I was born in the vibrant and picturesque country of the Netherlands. However, my early childhood took a significant turn when, at the tender age of 4, my family decided to move to the enchanting landscapes of southern France. Growing up there, I was fortunate enough to be immersed in the lush countryside, where I was surrounded by expansive farms and breathtaking natural beauty. It truly was a paradise for a young child, filled with adventures and explorations that allowed me to create cherished memories.
As life often takes unexpected turns, we made the decision to relocate back to the Netherlands when I was just 14. Initially, this transition sparked excitement and a sense of joy in me, as I was returning to my home country. I anticipated reconnecting with old friends and familiar places. However, as time went on, I couldn't help but feel a growing sense of nostalgia for the freedom and lush landscapes I had left behind in southern France. Living in a bustling area of the Netherlands proved to be a stark contrast to the serene countryside of my childhood.
Despite the overwhelming hustle and bustle of my new surroundings, I was determined to make the most of my situation. I focused on my education, diligently studying at school, and took on various jobs to gain experience and independence. Yet, despite my efforts, I struggled to find a path that truly resonated with my passions and interests. The feeling of being adrift became increasingly pronounced, compelling me to rethink my life choices and aspirations.
This led to a significant turning point in my life: I made the decision to embark on a journey to Southeast Asia, fueled by a desire for exploration and self-discovery. My ultimate goal was to reach Australia, a land that I had long dreamed about. I have always been drawn to the idea of working on a farm in Australia’s beautiful outback, where I could be surrounded by animals, engage with the land, and immerse myself in the stunning natural environment that Australia has to offer. Embracing this new adventure feels like a step towards rediscovering my love for nature and the sense of freedom that I have been longing for.

  • Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In France, I lived on a picturesque old farm that had a rustic charm, surrounded by sprawling fields and quaint barns. My parents were not farmers by trade, but they embraced a lifestyle connected to the land and nature. Fortunately, my neighbors were experienced farmers, and I often found myself spending countless hours at their farms, immersed in the bustling activities of agricultural life. I engaged in a myriad of tasks that kept the farm running smoothly, such as moving cows from one pasture to another, skillfully milking them, and ensuring all the animals were well-fed. There was also the less glamorous but equally essential task of scooping manure, which presented its own unique set of challenges each day. Every moment spent there was a lesson in hard work and dedication to the land, and I cherished every experience that came with it.
When I moved to the Netherlands, I found myself embarking on a new journey filled with diverse opportunities and experiences. At the tender age of 15, I started working in the fields, focusing on the cultivation of beautiful gladioluses. This role introduced me to the intricacies of flower farming, and I enjoyed the rhythm of working outdoors. By the time I turned 16, I decided to enter the vibrant hospitality industry, beginning my career as a dishwasher in a bustling restaurant. Through sheer determination and a commitment to excellence, I gradually climbed the ranks, eventually becoming a floor manager. This journey taught me invaluable skills, such as how to effectively interact with guests and deliver exceptional service, how to maintain composure under pressure, the importance of finding quick solutions to unexpected challenges, and how to manage operations smoothly, particularly during peak hours when everyone else was off.
At the age of 20, I made a significant shift in my career path and chose to work in logistics. My new role involved meticulously preparing orders in a warehouse for important clients, where there was little room for error. The need for precision in this position was crucial, and I honed my skills in attention to detail and organization. By the time I reached 22, I decided to pursue a training course to become a taxi driver. I successfully completed the course, and for the next year, I worked diligently as a taxi driver, primarily serving business clients whose expectations for professionalism were always high.
Then, at the age of 23, I found myself drawn to the flower industry, a field that my father had always been a part of. This transition brought with it a renewed sense of connection to the world of flowers. The job was physically demanding and required me to start my days very early and finish late into the evening. I took on responsibilities that included not just delivering stunning floral arrangements to various locations in Belgium, France, and Germany, but also scheduling rides for my colleagues. This aspect of the job required me to cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences, ensuring that we always met their expectations while managing the logistics of transportation efficiently. Overall, each of these experiences enriched my life, equipping me with a broad spectrum of skills and a wealth of knowledge that has shaped my professional journey.
