Recently retired - looking to give back and experience new lifestyles. Meet new people, learn new skills, and share what we have learned.

Description

Jon and I (June) are newly retired but not ready to stay home. We like to stay active, meet new people, and give back where we can. Jon was an electric engineer for 30 + years and enjoys fixing things and working on/with computers. My professional life included accounting/finance, clothing buyer, volunteer treasurer, and nonprofit children’s enrichment program. I was raised on a farm and am comfortable with animals, enjoy landscaping/gardening, sewing, cooking, and canning. We recently sold our home of 30 years to experience different lifestyles and geographic locations. We know what a demanding and busy family life is like and can provide you with some temporary support. We are the do-it-yourself type and adapt to most anything. We welcome the opportunity to introduce ourselves via FaceTime/video app and determine if we are a good fit for your family or tasks at hand.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We have lots of experience with home renovations (finish work) and landscaping/gardening, Jon enjoys small engine/equipment repairs and computers. June has worked extensively with various accounting and other software to provide general guidance and is handy as well.

We feel that travel is more than what you see, we want to experience the people and lifestyles of the places we travel. We’d like to continue to learn and to share what we have learned along the way. We are happy to assist with whatever needs getting done or to work independently. I'd love to have a small blueberry farm and want to learn all there is to know about pruning and growing blueberries.
