No longer seeking a Workaway, many thanks to all hosts who expressed interest.



I previously spent 3 months with different hosts in Golden, Kelowna, and Victoria. I loved each and every one of these stays and have great memories (which I am sure I share too frequently with family and friends!). I have given a simple overview of the tasks I engaged in at each stay below.

Golden - I helped with the construction of a large outdoor workshop. This required precision, cutting wood, drilling and sawing using a range of power tools.

Kelowna - I helped with permaculture. Harvesting a vast range of fruits and vegetables, learning about preservation and helping generally around the house.

Victoria - I cared for a family dog and helped maintain the outdoor space of the property, pruning, weeding, digging, and clearing. I even created a roof extension for the shed.

During these stays, I also cooked frequently for the families. I love a wide variety of cuisines and enjoy cooking at home.

Je parle un peu de Français. J’ai voyagé en France quand j’étais jeune en vacances, et quelquefois je utilise l’app Babbel a pratiquer. C’est possible pour moi a lire et dit beaucoup des mots mais plus difficile a écouter et comprend. Naturellement, je voudrais a améliorer ma Français avec un hôte si c’est possible.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My skills make me an ideal Workaway candidate. I’m a positive, social individual and have been a highly responsible carer for my sister (shown in the photos). She has epilepsy and autism and I have been crucial in providing her with new adventures outside the home. I also have great customer service skills, obtained over 9 years working in Britain’s most famous department store. I am active and love to be immersed in anything physically challenging outdoors.

I lived in Vancouver throughout the pandemic, and while it’s natural to enjoy the convenience of the city, I feel as though I would love to live in a smaller community.
