Hello everyone!
I am Frida, currently doing my Bachelor's in Biology in the amazing city of Vienna.
I am a curiouse and open mind, who loves a adventures as much as finding peace in nature.
For myself I discovered that I find my joy of traveling in becoming part of that place in form of some kind of exchange rather than in consuming something new.
I am here on a workaway because I catch myself way too often dreaming about escaping the city life. I love what I do, but imagine it or not, my studies mainly force me to sit in front of my laptop... on my happy days I get to spend some days with fascinating creatures like E. coli or yeast. I like them, they just don't satisfy my inner requirement to be part again of the living world. The world in which we humans are living with nature, not off it.
I grew up on a little farm like paradise. My parents have some chicken and ducks, two horses, goats and an evil little dog. I love and miss them all. Living here in the city now, I know that you can love multiple forms of living, they just need to be kept in balance. I finally want to use my body again for something senseful, with my hands on the ground and fresh air in my face.
I am eger to explore new ideas of living and to meet and live with new people. And what better way can you think of than exchanging help and inspiration?

I'm always interested to learn the language of the the country I'm visiting and of the people I'm staying with! I would trust myself to be able to teach some german, in case anyone wants to go through that nightmare ;)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Since I grew up in the countryside, I have a general understanding of garden maintenance and (mostly non-electric) tool use. My biggest joy is to work with and for animals as co-living beings, not as resources. One summer, I worked in a garden market. I know about the - sometimes - required physical strength and pain resistance. I got a European car driving license, in case that could be helpful.
Further, I would consider myself quite an artistic person in terms of painting/ drawing. I created a fun wall design for the nursery my mum works in - apparently the kids are happy :D.
I am fluent in German and English, my school French is unfortunatly a bit rusty..
If you wish for more specific skills, let me know! I'm absolutely not afraid to learn new skills - in fact, I'd be very happy to!
