Description

I was born in NY in the United States. I went to the university to study economics and I had a career working in the banking and finance industry. After several years, I decided to change life course and travel. I quit my career and hit the road. I've since traveled to several countries for extended periods of time including Vietnam where I taught English for the last 5 years. Throughout my travels, I spent time on several organic farms and had diverse jobs such as harvesting hops and processing salmon in Alaska. I love learning new things and I hope to meet new people who I can share experiences with.

I enjoy learning new languages as a way to better understand different cultures. I've spent time studying the basics of several languages including: Nepali, Vietnamese, French, Spanish and German. Of course, I'm not fluent in any of them!!
