Description
We are a family with four children (16, 13, 9, 6 years old). We live in the Zurich Oberland, 25 train/car minutes from Zurich. We live in a house in a village with lots of space and green surroundings. We do homeschooling with our children and therefore they are at home most of the time.
Wir sind eine Familie mit vier Kindern (16, 13, 9, 6 Jahre alt). Wir wohnen im Zürcher Oberland, 25 Zug/Auto-Minuten von Zürich entfernt. Wir wohnen in einem Haus in einer Siedlung mit viel Platz und grünem Umschwung. Unsere Kinder sind im Homeschooling und daher die meiste Zeit zu Hause.

We have visited many countries, know different cultures and have friends around the world. We are always happy to get to know people from other countries. We enjoy sharing our natural way of life and our knowledge about Switzerland. Maybe we can go on a trip or two together.
Wir haben schon viele Länder besucht, kennen verschiedene Kulturen und haben überall in der Welt Freunde. Wir freuen uns immer, Menschen aus anderen Ländern kennen zu lernen. Gerne teilen wir unsere natürliche Lebensweise und unser Wissen über die Schweiz. Vielleicht können wir auch den einen oder anderen Ausflug zusammen unternehmen.

We look for someone who is able to independently take over some chores around the house like recycling, vacuum cleaning tidying up (with the children), laundry. Depending on the season there is some gardening on the task list (weeding, planting...). Most of the time our workawayers spend playing life with our children, joining them discovering the neighbourhood and the world. Furthermore, support in math, languages, drawing, music or any other school subject and sharing your passions is welcome. Cooking a plant-based meal could be a task too.
Wir freuen uns auf eine/n Workawayer/in, die/der selbstständig im Haushalt wirkt wo es gerade nötig ist (entsorgen, staubsaugen, mit den Kindern aufräumen, Wäsche...). Je nach Jahreszeit gibt es im Garten zu tun, z. B. jäten, säen, Kompost umschaufeln... Die meiste Zeit verbringen die Workawayers mit unseren Kindern: Mit ihnen das Leben spielen, die Umgebung und die Welt erkunden. Auch Unterstützung in den verschiedenen Schulfächern ist willkommen, sowie das Teilen deiner Hobbies und Passionen. Je nach dem darf auch mal eine pflanzenbasierte Mahlzeit für die Familie gekocht werden.

The children like to use and improve their english. Some of us currently improve their French knowledge, learn Spanish and Portuguese. Of other languages we are happy to learn some songs, words, bits.
Hébergement
We offer a room for our guest with about 15 m2 and a separate toilet/shower. We prepare and enjoy high quality organic plant based food.
Wir haben für unseren Gast ein Zimmer mit ca 15 m2 und ein separates WC/Dusche. Wir ernähren uns mit hochwertigem, biologischem und pflanzenbasiertem Essen.

Train station within 7 minutes walking distance from home, 25 minutes to Zurich, 10 minutes to Rapperswil at the beautiful lake Zurich. Bike tours to discover the surrounding are a fun option too.
Bahnhof in 7 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar, 25 Minuten nach Zürich, 10 Minuten nach Rapperswil am schönen Zürichsee. Fahrrad-Ausflüge können eine weitere Möglichkeit sein, die Gegend zu entdecken.
