Mathilde stayed here for a month this spring. She cleaned the apartments in the guesthouse and also at the campsite and also took care of the household. It was a real pleasure to have her here. She was happy and fun and very easy to communicate with. She did her job very well and I give her my highest recommendation.

Brigitte is a really nice host and is always there for you if you need anything! The casita is super cute and has everything you need. We had a great time there, especially with the dogs and cats. And the natural surroundings are beautiful! Brigitte ist wirklich ein sehr netter Host und ist immer für einen da, wenn etwas ist! Die Casita ist super süß und hat alles was man braucht. Wir hatten eine super Zeit dort vor allem auch mit den Hunden und Katzen. Und die Natur ist wunderschön!

My stay with Angie and Frank was a short and pleasant experience where I felt welcome and looked-after. I had the opportunity to do the tasks that I liked and Frank's cooking was delicious. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. One day I would like to come back. Sometimes I was challenged by not understanding some words because I am not a native British speaker as Angie and Frank are. I can also tell that they have plenty of experience with DIY tasks. Thank you for hosting me! :)

We had such a great time here and really enjoyed the work. So much so that we stayed two weeks longer than we had originally planned. The people there are the best and we would definitely recommend it. We don't think there's a better Workaway!

It was truly an amazing trip! Far away from the busy city, this relaxing getaway was exactly what I needed. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings made me feel completely refreshed and reconnected with nature. The lovely family made me feel so welcome — and their kids were absolutely adorable! I had so much fun playing Jungo with them. It really felt like a home away from home. 💕 Perfect for anyone who loves nature, peaceful vibes, and genuine hospitality. I can’t wait to come back again! 🌲✨

I spent an incredible three weeks at St Gervais Sur Mare helping Paul with his art studio. Paul was extremely welcoming and accommodating and the tasks were satisfying and not too intense at all. I learnt many new DIY skills and the area is beautiful to walk around and everyone is super friendly. I cannot wait to return to see the completed art studio which was nearly done by the time I left. A memorable workaway experience filled with lots of laughs and fun!

They brought life and joy to the hostel, their social media work was excellent, and they complemented each other perfectly as a team. I highly recommend them as volunteers!

We lived with Gerlinde for about a week, and it was lovely! The house and garden was like nothing we had ever seen before. The nature around the house was beautiful and had a cold but amazing river running by the road. Gerlinde was a very inviting host and her cooking skills were great! She was so kind to include us in the local life by meeting friends and neighbours, and going to local protests. If you want to live by beautiful nature and with an amazing host, you should visit Gelinde! Thank you Gelinde Estrid og Klara

Big thank you to Jennifer and Dan for having me! They have such a beautiful family and it's easy to tell how proud they are of their kids. I ended up leaving early but I'm grateful for my time here and their hospitality. The tasks were fun and Dan showed me a lot of respect and trust when he gave me things to do. It was such an honor to learn about Indigenous culture in Muncey and hear Dan's stories and wisdom. Wish you all the best!

We were so happy to host Iris in our home! She quickly became part of our family and was wonderful with Umay — they played, laughed, and spent lovely time together every day. After Umay went to bed, we often had long and warm conversations, which I truly enjoyed. Iris is very organized, tidy, and respectful of the space. She helped us a lot around the house and always did everything with care. We already miss her and hope to see her again one day. Thank you for being such a kind and thoughtful person, Iris! 🌷

We had a very enjoyable stay. Yasmin and Nick welcomed and integrated us perfectly, it was our first woofing experience. We also met their children, who are full of energy and need lots of attention and love. We took part in various activities: taking care of the garden and the land in preparation for winter, helping with meal preparation, and even assisting with the bread that Yasmin makes. We spent two wonderful weeks there, and we’d be happy to come back!

Nice to have Isabel around, I loved to speak French with her. She is a very clever and sensitive young lady . Isabel did realy enjoy to learn new things and also didnt want to stop before the project was finished. And than suddenly also the dishes where done! Just a beautiful sporty girl, realy hope to see her back one day! Have beautiful travels!!

Matej Stayed with us for just a few days between other jobs. He was friendly and personable and appreciated the food and the family atmosphere. Matej works best when communication is very clear so he likes structure and organisation to his tasks which he completes really well. He is very friendly but also likes a little chilling time. We would invite him back again! Matej speaks several languages very well but does need clarification sometimes and you might need to speak a little more slowly and with a clearer accent than some of us are inclined to do. He learned American English and we speak with a very Northern British accent! ;-)

Pamela was a life savior. I was severely injured from an accident and we needed help around the farm in February and March. Pam was in charge of feeding all the animals , house cleaning and preparing the family dinner some nights. There was a slight language barrier but we managed fine. She was a joy to have around and taught us lots about her home country.

We had the pleasure of hosting this wonderful couple for two weeks, and their company was truly invaluable. They were always helpful, kind, and full of positive energy. They taught us how to cook delicious vegetarian meals and shared many beautiful moments with us, even outside the farm. I highly recommend them as volunteers — they have a great attitude, open hearts, and a real desire to experience new things.

Julieta is such a warm, loving, and wonderful person. We had an amazing time together and truly enjoyed every moment of her stay with us. She is always eager to help and does everything with great care, respect, and kindness. Her positive energy filled our home with joy and harmony. In the garden, she connected deeply with nature, whispering to the plants and helping them grow strong and healthy with love. It was beautiful to see how much heart she put into everything she did. Julieta became a part of our family, someone we will always remember with affection and gratitude. Maybe next time we’ll meet in Cuba, Hasta Siempre Julieta!
