I am a British resident (of Polish origin) with a secondary residence in a beautiful old house in the French Jura. It is in a small lovely village nestled at the bottom of the vinyards and forests. Lots of gorgeous lakes close by. I am also 10 m away from a small town called Lons le Saunier which has very good shopping facilities. Skiing (when there is snow) about 1 hour away by car.

I work from home full time; I also spend lots of time gardening. I am happy to speak English or French with my guests. I also do lots of walking in the mountains (am a member of a couple of clubs) and happy to take the person along. Also, I often go to local concerts, meet friends, go swimming in the many lakes close to us. I have always taken my workawayers with me whatever I do if they are interested (as you can read from my references).The area is very beautiful. I have a couple of mountain bikes - best cycling it seems around here in France as low hills and no traffic (Jura is not v touristic). My workawayers are welcome to use them. Finally, I have a good piano - very happy for my workawayers to use it.

The property has a beautiful, big garden which needs lots of upkeep, in all seasons really. I need help with weeding , watering in summer (v little rain and v hot ), and planting new flowers. I also would like help with some art work on the property - painting flowers or different colours for example on some walls in my outbuildings. So any artists most welcome! In fact, I am happy to help organise even small concerts for musicians or exhibitions for painters etc esp in the spring. As a matter of fact, I organised two concerts 'au chapeau' - basking - for a virtuoso pianist workawayer last spring - and it was a great success (all money going to the workawayer of course). Painters could get inspired by this beautiful place - and I would love to see them paint! And of course, no help with any kind of business activities will be required.

There is a desk in the double bedroom they would be using. Excellent wifi.

As long as well behaved AND TOILET TRAINED, and do not come upstairs, kitchen, dining room or sitting room. They have to stay downstairs, including at night. And poos in the garden need to be picked up twice a day. Preferably taken out for a walk if dogs so poo outside.
