I spent two weeks in the hostel in Da Lat. Ha and Nhat, the two owners, are such nice people, very welcoming and always friendly and communicative. I felt like being in another home, far from mine, into an amazing city full of attractions and a lovely night life vibe. I've met so many other volunteers and hostel guests who now I consider my travel buddies, such a great opportunity to be in a such socialising environment. I promise them I will come back next year to stay maybe a little longer, and I can't wait for it :) thanks to all the guys I've spent my time with, thanks to Ha and Nhat for their support and kindness.

Valeska is an incredibly amazing guest. she is self-organised, intelligent, curious, yet totally fine doing her own thing. she has blended into our busy family instantly and we are reluctant to ever let her go again. You always have a home here!!! thank you so mich for all your care.

Our stay was incredible ! It was our first volunteer experience and we couldn't make a better choice ! We spent three weeks there and we didn't want to leave. Nadine ans Andrea are the definition of the kindness, patient, generous and always there to know if you enjoy your stay. We are not going to talk again about the meals which are averywhere in the other feedbacks but according to us she is ready to open a restaurant ;) We know each day what we have to do and it is never the same things so not boring ! The biew in front of the tent is incredible with the sea ans the nature all around. The bus stop is really near the house and the village of Icod allows many connections by bus to many villages around and beautiful hikes. We will never forget our experience and we will come back sure !

Anna and her lovely boy stayed for a week.....sadly little S was quite unwell and had to rest up for most of the stay, but they managed to enjoy the peaceful surrounds. The weather was kind, and Anna worked calmly and around her son, making a very nice impact on our home, and luckily there was lots of fun at the end of the stay with Xmas in Cooroy parade! Anna and S were lovely guests and we could recommend them to anyone.

Mathilde & David are just excellent staff members, people and friends, always fun and professional, we will miss them and we was so lucky to have had them with us for so long! These two people are an addition to any team. As sad as we were to see them leave we know that they will be looking at another adventure and we cant wait to hear about it! All the best guys!

We enjoyed having Dita with us this winter. Respectful and professional in everything she does. We highly recommend.

Calder stayed with me for a week . In that time I was able to complete 3 projects. He worked really well with me and had some building skills which helped alot with the projects. Calder was easy to be with . He is a very good musician and so fitted in well with my place. I enjoyed having his company, surfing with him and spending time with him. I highly recommend him for future Workaway hosts.

We hosted Zoe for a month and enjoyed her presence very much! She was very helpful around the house, created a strong nurturing bond with the children and made friends in the area, adapting quickly and well to her new home. We hope to keep our friendship in the coming years and welcome her back again!

It was a really lovely experience to stay with Zelda. She welcomed me and my friends from the first moment. Zelda is a lovely person with a beautiful house and very cute dog. The working hours were always fair and she always watched out for us not to work too much. We also were always able to arrange the work hours around our personal plans. We painted the deck and helped with various tasks such as sanding, water blasting and organizing the pottery studio. It was always nice to go for short walks with Merlow and Zelda even helped us to make our own pottery cups, which is a really nice memory of my lovely stay in Christchurch :) Thank you for everything Zelda

It was so fun to live with Inne, Jack and their adorable girls, Lou and Millie. 2 weeks fly by when in good company! I enjoyed weeding the garden and helping with the everyday household tasks. Inne and Jack invited me to join community events, encourage me to go out to live music and to spend sunny days in Sumner and Diamond Harbour. I highly recommend this family as hosts!

My time at Ashoks place was absolutely wonderful! He is such a kind person as well as his whole family. I felt welcome and home from the beginning! The work is very interesting and you can experience the farming and way of living very authentic. Ashok also answers you every question no matter if its about the culture, farming or about hiking. The food you get is super tasty and its very nice to eat together with the family! His children are also very lovely and interesting to talk to! I can only recommend spending time there! I wish all the best to the family and the farm! Grateful, Noah

we stayed for just one week but this was the most memorable experience of our travel to Nepal. Ashok's family is so incredibly welcoming, kind and generous. We had so much fun getting to know his kids and learning about Nepali culture in the most authentic way. The work itself is hands-on gardening, nothing too heavy but be ware of bugs, haha! We got to know other volunteers too, which is always enriching. I recommend this workaway 200%! thank you Koriala's for everything ❤️

Zelda and Matthew lives in front of a nice park where I enjoyed taking Merlow for a daily walk. I find the work to be quite easy. Cooking dinners, gardening and keeping the house clean. Zelda showed me her Art Studio where I did various tasks and painting pottery samples and bowls. I felt pretty lucky to learn more about pottery. Thank you Zelda for the opportunity and our conversations.

We stayed with Peter for a few days and had a wonderful time there. The accommodation he offers is by far the best we experienced, it's a small house that we had all to ourselves, which is really great, with a beautiful view over the ocean and a lot of space to relax. The work we did was really fair and he cooked delicious meals! We highly recommend staying with him!

Rachael made me feel welcome the second I arrived. I enjoyed visiting another part of Wellington and I felt like part of the family when playing board game in the evening. The work was fair and flexible. I also did some creative home decor which was fulfilling.

Coppia fantastica che mi ha fatto da house sitter per 3 settimane. Hanno risolto moltissimi problemi in autonomia,poiche' IL workaway precedente (che faceva l house sitter) ha abbandonato casa e animali senza preavviso,di conseguenza al loro arrivo Hanno Trovato un Vero disastro, Le porte Della casa erano aperte con tutti animali (anche Capra e galline) che avevano defecato dapertuttoe semidistrutto la casa🙈😱. Dani e Ana Hanno pulito e risolto tutti I problemi mentre Io non c 'ero. Inoltre si Sono presi cura di casa e animali in maniera amorevole e impeccabile. Mi e' solo dispiaciuto(a causa di UN imprevisto) non poter passare nemmeno UN Giorno con questa coppia, perche' avrei anche potuto imparare qualcosa dalle loro esperienze. Raccomandati 100% soprattutto per house sitter 🥰Spero tornino UN giorno🥰

To host Daniel and his wife Xenia was an incredible experience. Both are super friendly, polite and good hearted . We had spent good time together and had a lots of fun. We hope you will have an amazing experience in your future travels and hope to see you again some day.

For those looking to fully immerse themselves in the beautiful Finnish nature and a simple way of life, this is the perfect place. My experience staying here was truly amazing! Jakob was an excellent host and happy to share every aspect of his culture and way of life. I learned many new skills, and was able to share some of my own. I would love to visit again in the future!

Erin stay with us in starting in December and she mainly helped us in English and Maths lessons. She tried her best to work and communicate with children and communicate very well with them. We wish her all the best and hope we will host her again soon
