Hello! My name is Erin, I am a solo female traveler currently exploring Central Asia. I love meeting new people, learning about other cultures, learning new languages, and playing with kids. I enjoy hiking and camping as well as exploring new cities! I also love making art and wire wrapping jewelry. I think learning new languages is so important and opens many doors for the future, especially for children. I am looking for an opportunity to teach English and learn Russian in Kazakhstan!

I am a native English speaker and I also speak some Spanish. I want to learn to speak Russian during my time in Central Asia. I have a degree in business and can help with promoting or managing a business. I also have a lot of experience in hospitality working reception, retail, and housekeeping. I am a fast learner and not afraid to pick up new skills! I also have experience working with kids and running a creative program from my local library. I am physically fit and able to lift heavy things and do yard work/farming tasks. Thank you for considering my application!

Erin stay with us in starting in December and she mainly helped us in English and Maths lessons.
She tried her best to work and communicate with children and communicate very well with them.
We wish her all the best and hope we will host her again soon

I had a great week here. The kids are very sweet and curious about other cultures. It felt like more of a cultural exchange/ practicing English. We still did a bit of teaching in schools though. I felt very welcomed and comfortable and would highly reccomend this workaway!

Erin stayed with us for three weeks. During this time, we worked and relaxed together. Erin helped us in our glamping with gardening, and bedding. Erin was always punctual and happy to take on any task. Erin is a decent, grateful, and communicative person. We recommend Erin to other hosts.

This was a great place to slow down and experience Kazakh culture and lifestyle. It’s a nice place to live and the host is great!! Would recommend. It’s a good location in the mountains with lots of hiking trail nearby. The work is simple but relaxing and only 3 hours per day. Thank you Tal for a great 3 weeks!
