Bonjour and hello!
My name is Zerick Patriana, and I’m someone who genuinely loves meeting new people, learning through experience, and finding ways to give back. I recently spent some time in Strasbourg for my Master’s internship and absolutely fell in love with the French culture and the everyday rhythm of life here. Now, I’m taking a sabbatical to volunteer and return some of the kindness that the community showed me when I first arrived.
For me, volunteering is all about being part of something positive—showing up, being present and actively learning from the people around me. I’m motivated by simple curiosity, a desire to help where I can, and the general belief that hard work is a lot more fun when you do it together in a trusting and communicative space.
I’d be incredibly grateful for the chance to contribute to your community and learn from you. As the saying goes, to help someone is to help everyone.

My time in France taught me the value of patience, attentiveness, and respect in shared spaces — lessons I carry with me in every setting.
In addition to my international experience, I bring a solid work ethic and practical skills to the table. I’m dependable when it comes to household tasks such as cleaning, gardening, and other general chores, and I take pride in completing them thoroughly and efficiently. I’m also good at following instructions carefully and being responsive to the needs of others, which makes me well-suited for environments that require flexibility and teamwork. I’m a strong team player who values listening, communicating clearly, and supporting others to reach common goals. -

I am fluent in French, I like to play the piano and I like to go outdoors from time to time. Playing games like chess and checkers or card games is a joy as well. I have experience babysitting my niece and have been told I’m engaging that way. I am not dependent on social media and have been on a cleanse for 2+ years but am still up to date with my local community and international news.
