Description
I have finally finished my studies and am taking a year off to travel around Asia. Starting from Tokyo, my goal is to go back to Paris without taking a plane. For now my plan is to spend the summer in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan after crossing South Korea and China, where I hope to volunteer and learn Russian better (I have studied it for 8 years, though long ago). Then, I'd like to spend the winter in Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam (yes, I'll have to cross China again). Finally, I'll go back (3rd time crossing China) home.
I am hoping that this year off will be an opportunity to meet new people and learn a ton of things, and have wonderful and different experiences. I love to travel, and I want to volunteer in order to feel like I have lived in some places more than visited them.
I love music and have played the piano since I was young, so if your place has a piano that would be great for me! I also can teach maths (I have a PhD in applied mathematics), English and French and I am eager to learn Russian and Spanish. I love hiking and swimming so any activity involving one of those is a big yes for me :)

I have studied mathematics and computer engineering. I have taught mathematics to university and high school students. I can teach maths, I can help out to learn how to code (python, c++ ...) and I can teach French and English (I have a C1 level in English). I have also helped out in a ranch with horses for 2 weeks when I was in high school.
