'We'd like to volunteer from August 9-23, 2025"
We are a working-class Turkish family from Türkiye. I am an English teacher at a public school, and my husband, Aykut, is an electrical engineer at a public company. Our daughters, Zehra (11) and Zeynep (8), are calm and adaptable.
We have been both hosts and Workawayers on this platform. This is our host account : https://www.workaway.info/en/host/965275581652. So far, we have volunteered at a school in Sofia, Bulgaria, a summer camp in Plzen, Czech Republic, and a family house in Wartberg, Austria. Each experience has been wonderful, allowing us to meet amazing people and create great memories as a family.
We love travelling a lot. When Sultan was studying at university, she was an exchange student in Denmark. She travelled all over Europe. In 2012 she attended a program called SWY ( The Ship for World Youth) in Japan. She visited Japan, India, Singapur,Sri Lanka thanks to this program. Aykut was also an exchange student in Poland. He has been in USA for three months for work and travel programme. After we got married, we visited some European countries together (Greece, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosna, Spain). We are a travelling, open-minded, easy-going, extroverted couple. We are a non-smoker and non-drinker family.
After hosting some workawayers, we'd love to join Workaway as workawayers. Zehra and Zeynep loved being with the workawayers so much that they now want to travel as workawayers and make new friends. We would like to invite the hosts who accept us as family in our own home in the future.
