Description
Hi, I’m Yvonne from Changchun, China. It’s so nice to be back on Workaway after the pandemic.
Life has changed a lot since Covid — but in a positive way. Last year, I made a big decision to leave my job and start traveling. Along the journey, I discovered what truly makes me happy: sharing. Whether it’s staying on farms, connecting with nature, or living a slower and more mindful life, sharing experiences with people and my surroundings always makes my day.
I still clearly remember my very first farm stay when I was 19 in Australia. My English was quite limited at that time, and everything felt challenging — but it became one of my most precious memories. That experience planted the seed for my love of cultural exchange and simple living.
About me:I’m easy-going, open-minded, and respectful. I adapt easily to new environments and enjoy both meaningful conversations and quiet time. I’m quite independent, but I also enjoy being part of a team and sharing daily life with others.
What I can offer:I have previous volunteer experience on family farms and in hostels in Australia, Thailand, and China. Wherever I go, I always do my best to contribute and support the team.I enjoy cooking and would love to share Chinese homemade dishes, as well as some simple Japanese food. I also like photography and can help capture moments of daily life, your place, or ongoing projects if needed. In my free time, I enjoy practicing Qigong and meditation, which helps me stay calm, present, and balanced.
I’m not afraid of repetitive or physically demanding work, and I always try to do things carefully and responsibly.
I’d love to share, contribute, learn, and explore. -

The founders of the farm, Burak and Murat, were super nice and explained everything to us as much as they could. I've learned a lot from them. I'm quite fascinated by how they establish the farm from scratch and make it a commercial success. Also, other than the farm, there's a … read more
