Hi! I am Yun
I am a 30 year old professional working remotely as a data analyst. Born and raised in Korea, now living in the US. I'm a firm believer in mindful traveling based on community, mutual respect, and cultural exchange, sharing and exchanging as much as possible with people allowing me to share their space.
I love getting to know people at a human level, and very easy-going and personable, while also respectful of boundaries and space. I have some experience traveling (South America, Mexico, Europe) and I can share tons of stories. I am also passionate about languages in general and I'm always eager to immerse myself by trying to learn the local language.

I'm currently working in IT (Data Analyst) and have some technical skills in SQL, Tableau, Python, and more.
I have experience as a private tutor teaching math, chemistry, and English. I am 100% fluent in both English and Korean.
I have experience over 5 years in customer service, working as a restaurant server, briefly at a hostel, and receptionist at a medical facility. I have some limited experience taking care of pets, especially cats (I'm a cat person). I'm committed and hard-working and am quick to learn any kind of skill. Whatever work I do, I have a high attention to detail and am willing to be extremely flexible to the host's needs.

I love to hike and immerse myself in nature (I've hiked the Camino de Santiago twice and have also hiked the W trek in Patagonia). I also love psychology and psychoanalysis, personality tests, and actually considering a career change into becoming a clinical psychologist or therapist.
I also play the guitar terribly and also used to play the cello in an orchestra. I want to learn the bass guitar. My dream is to be a polyglot and learn 10 languages fluently by the time I die.
