Hi there!!
My name is Yui from Japan 🇯🇵
I’m a university student and studying international culture🌏
This year, I’m taking a year off and traveling around the world to explore other cultures!!

I became especially interested in traveling after spending four months in Canada on a study abroad program last year. During that time, I met many people with different perspectives, and it made me want to see more of the world and learn from different ways of thinking.

I enjoy staying active and often play basketball or go running for fun. I have good physical stamina, so I’m happy to help with active or hands-on tasks. I also really enjoy sharing cultures and learning from people with different backgrounds and perspectives.

Through Workaway, I hope to gain meaningful experiences that I can connect with my university studies and use for my future💖

Yui was a really great volunteer. She is very well organised, she is very sporty and has a lot of energy but she was also very nice with our disabled daughter.
Communication was really easy, she is totally fluent in English.
Yui can work in a team, but can also be independent.

I stayed at Michel's place for three weeks, and it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot.

Yui is a lovely person who helped everywhere where she was needed and was very supportive and helpful even though we had a sad situation as she could handle with comprehension and support all the situations. Thank you for sharing your culture with us. I’m sorry for having to face that hot days we had in Spain in August.

I stayed at Richard’s place for 2weeks, and it was my first Workaway. He is very funny and made my stay really enjoyable. The place is surrounded by nature, and I also had a great chance to experience the local culture!!
