  • Description

    Hellouu there:))
We are Torge and Yassi, travelers and music lovers. We both love dancing and connecting with people and animals. Open mindset, humour, honesty and empathy are very important for us. It is obvious that we help where we can and to communicate whenever there is the need. Most of our time we spend outside moving or relaxing. We can do both very well. Our first big trip together was to Togo, Kpalimé, where we spend a beautiful time with the reggae and rasta community. We loved to live near the waterfalls and nature all the time. And we were enjoying the positive energy and music. Besides Togo we already did some small trips together in Europe. Before we travelled together, each of us already gained a few travel experiences alone and with friends.
´ Torge’s most outstanding travel experience: when he was alone in Sibiria, Yakutsk and was living with a local family and experienced the life there. Spending time with Torge is very relaxing and filled with funny moments. He loves to do sports like biking, hiking and fitness ;)`
`Yassi is someone who brings positivity to a group as soon as she enters. And Yassi’s most special trip: when she travelled alone to Brazil’s jungle. `
We already used couchsurfing and found a new friend :)
Also workaway is not new for us. I, Yassi , had an account and worked in Brazil and Ecuador for two different hosts. It was a wonderful and rewarding time, which is why we are here again now.
    have a nice day:)

We both love to work with people, animals and plants. And we always enjoy working with our hands or do something new. We are happy that we could gain various experiences in many different areas, and we are looking forward to expanding them :)
    Torge:
I worked as a coach for a children’s handball team and after my studies, I was hired in a gym as a personal trainer. After finishing my studies, I got my Bachelor of Arts degree in company health management. It was really rewarding for me to work with people that have the same joy for sports and activities as me. In my teenage years I worked with children with disabilities and discovered my talents in helping people with their tension, emotionally and physically.
In my free time, I always enjoyed being in the nature with my dog or around other animals. Furthermore, I did not only take care of my own dog, but also looked after animals of friends and family. When I planted, seeded and harvested my own vegetables, I was passionate about it. Especially being a part of the progress, seeing the different plants grow up made me happy. My experiences pass over many kinds of crafts, for example changing a tube of a sink or building a shed for bikes out of wooden planks.
    Yassi:
I helped in four different hospitals, I taught German, math, art, etc. and did voluntary life coaching. While working in childcare with children of difficult family situation, I learned a lot about pedagogic and psychology. The most impressive and educational was working with horses in Brazil and Ecuador. There I worked in the jungle and on a ranch. In addition to the horses, I also worked as a gardener, and I learned a lot for my personality. Animals and plants always had a big impact on my life. Horse training/riding, dog/cats care, planting avocados, harvesting fruits/vegetables, hugging trees and sifting soil finely :)
After almost six months of travelling, I moved to Berlin, studied fashion design and I was able to get an insight into a completely different world during this time. Above all, I was able to improve my craft a lot. This includes sewing, ironing, cutting/styling hair, make-up, drawing, painting, pattern construction, draping and working with plaster and clay. Craftsmanship in the classic sense has always been a source of enthusiasm for me too. If something was broken, I always liked to repair it. Or, for example, I sawed the floor for my little sister's room.
In our opinion, life is the most beautiful when people are helping each other and achieve their goals together :)
