Hi there! My name is Xaxa and I’m from Barcelona.

I’m a curious person who loves experiencing new things and getting to know people from different backgrounds. I’ve always loved travelling, but what keeps me travelling isn’t so much the places themselves as the people I meet, the stories I hear and the experiences I collect along the way.

I love being surrounded by nature, especially the sea. I love animals so I also housesit through another platform. Writing, dancing and aerials are some of my biggest passions, and I really enjoy teaching.

I’m very clean and organized and I've worked in quite a few different fields over the years: hospitality, property management, administration, teaching (English, yoga, bachata...), traffic control, etc. I’m currently finishing my undergraduate degree in Psychology and I also have a certificate in NLP coaching.

I’m quite social and enjoy sharing time with people, but I’m also very independent and need some quiet time to recharge, write or simply do my own thing. I really value having balance between both in my life.

What I’m looking for when I travel is not just a place to stay, but somewhere with good energy that can feel a little like a home away from home. I love the idea of sharing everyday life, learning from each other and contributing where I can. For me, life is much more interesting when it’s about connection, generosity and sharing experiences rather than everything being about money.

I am a certified yoga teacher, NLP Coach and I will finish my Bacherlor's degree in Psychology soon.
I have experience in different areas, specially in tourism, education and office work. I have been working for a 147-room hotel in Barcelona and then I managed a group of rental apartments around Barcelona area.
I quit my last job as an Assistant manager to travel the world. There I did administration tasks, accounting, planning, sales, logistics, etc.
I also have experience teaching English, Yoga, and I was a sales assistant and a waiter years ago.
I also have a Degree of Advertising and Public Relations but that's actually where I have less experience.
I am a curious person, a fast learner who is always eager to learn new motivating things
