Hey there!

My name is Vojta, I'm 20 years old and I just finished highschool. I decided to take a gap year to explore the beautiful country of New Zealand.

I love traveling in general but recently I discovered the idea of solo traveling which the best thing that could have happened. Solo traveling makes me more independent, allowes me to meet new like-minded people, make new friends and get to know the specific culture even better.

My big passion besides traveling is everything regarding sports. I've been doing all kinds of sports for my whole live. Especially athletics, table tennis and soccer. I've also worked as a trainer for few years.

I've worked as a coach of athletics of young children. I've also been a part of organization similar to Scouts. For the last couple of years I've been a leader in this group which consists of taking care of the kids as well as preparing everything possible that is needed for the trips and especially summer camps. I know how to work with children and how to properly communicate in groups. I really enjoy working in the garden or outside in general and I don't have a problem with physically challenging work. I'm open and eager to learn new things - after all that's the reason why I decided for gap year:)

I was really lucky to have David as my first workaway host. I stayed with him with small breaks for almost three weeks.
