Description
Hiiiiii there, I’m Vivi (26) and I’ve just finished my Master’s degree (Intermedia) here in Cologne, Germany. On the side, I work as a radio presenter and produce TV and radio programmes with children and young people. I LOVE my work and I would be super happy to bring my knowledge somewhere else and also get to know new ways of working (with Kids). Before I dive into a full-time job, I’d love to do a bit of traveling – and ideally not just to discover new cultures and have fun, but also to do something meaningful.
In my free time (beside the basics, like meeting friends and family :) I play flute in a film-music-orchestra, go to sport and dancing classes (started with acrobatic when I was 6 years old) and organize cultural events for international students in Cologne (like city and museum tours, crafting necklaces, painting glasses or organizing picnics/ international dinner/ pub quizzes/ boardgames-evenings...) . I love to craft and do other creative stuff, which can calm me down and give me so much energy in stressful periods. And if it's not crafting or books that cheers me up, it's cooking and backing. I love to host friends for a brunch/dinnerparty and I'm super curious to dive into a new foodculture from Indonesia...in case you wan't to show me your kitchen secrets ;)
What are you passioned about?
In my past I was already living in Italy twice where I also learned Italian and worked as an Au Pair. In general I am working with kids since I was still a kid myself, like 12/13 years old :D And I don't get tired of it. Thanks to my open and cheerful nature, I have no problem approaching strangers and I’m already really excited and looking forward to the time we’ll spend together. I can't wait to meet you! -

More details about your skills
I've been working with kids since I was still not even an adult yet :D Rather it was holiday camps, as a private teacher, acrobatic coach, photo-projects with refugees or like now, where I do workshops and produce TV and Radio shows with them.
Beside that I studied for short time German and Art (to become a teacher) and switched then to Intermedia and Music-education (but mainly Intermedia, where I produced audios, Podcasts, Films or even Children's books).
In my free time I love to do Sport (fitness and dancing) and play Instruments. I also work as a volunteer at ESN where I'm in charge of culture and creative programming for the 200 Erasmus-Students that come to Cologne. So I craft necklaces, paint glasses or be in other ways creative with them. -

What else ...
I loooooooove board games and would be delighted to meet like-minded people! If I’m lucky, maybe someone will teach me a new game?
I’m not a strict vegetarian, but I do prefer plant-based food – though only if it’s not too much trouble. Generally speaking, I’ll eat just about anything and I enjoy trying new, local dishes. -
